During filming of Aliens, Sigourney Weaver would bring every cast member a bouquet of flowers on the day they were scheduled to “die”. She brought Paul Reiser, who played Burke, a bunch of dead blossoms.
Rico and I (and some other people, but they don’t run this blog) went to see the Alien Quadrilogy at the Prince Charles Cinema in London the other day and this scene (and the whole of the last half hour of Aliens) was absolutely incredible on the big screen. Proper chilling stuff.
If you ever have a chance to go and see any of the films (even Resurrection or the Vs Predators) do so because they are so cinematic. We try to keep you posted on any we catch wind of. If you hear of any screenings, please let us know here.
